The Union Mutual of Vermont Companies held their second annual Agency Council meetings the first and second weeks of May. The Northern New England Council meeting was held in Portsmouth, New Hampshire at the Sise Inn and the Southern New England Council meeting was held at the home office located in Montpelier, Vermont.
Senior Management provided both Councils with an overview of the 2010 highlights and annual report, and discussed the 2011 – 2013 Strategic Plan of the Company. Presentations were also provided on 2011 and 2012 exciting Underwriting and Marketing initiatives.
Council members met privately as a group to discuss upcoming changes as well as overall company operations and reported back to Management comments and suggestions. Both groups seemed very positive and pleased with the aggressive initiatives of the Company. The Management team has already begun work on implementing some of Council member’s suggestions and will continue to work with the Council going forward.
