Union Mutual Family Night at the Mountaineers
June 30, 2009Showcasing outstanding college student baseball the Vermont Mountaineers compete in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. League Champions in 2006 and 2007 the Mountaineers play their home games at historic Recreation Field in the state capitol of Montpelier. Going to a Mountaineers game has grown into one of the most popular summer events in central Vermont.
As a proud sponsor, Union Mutual of Vermont Companies wanted to give back to the fans and donated two official Red Sox Fenway Park Stadium Seats to the organization. The seats are bolted to the stadium and are known as the "Best Seats in the House". Two lucky spectators are picked to sit in these special seats at every game.
Since the inception of this organization, Union Mutual hosts a family night at the park for its employees.
