Welcome! I am very happy to kick off this new website which we think reflects well the values, people and strength of our New England based mutual insurance company.

Should you become a policyholder — and we hope you will — here's the message you'll get from me on your first policy. I think it says it all:
For more than 135 years, beginning in Vermont and now extending throughout New England and into upstate New York, the Union Mutual of Vermont Companies have provided quality personal and commercial lines insurance coverage through local Independent Insurance Agents. We pride ourselves on "service second to none, in the Vermont tradition," and hope you will agree.
Because you are now part of the Union Mutual "family" - as some here say - I thought it would be helpful to share our corporate values with you:
