August marks the beginning of the Atlantic hurricane season’s most active period, with storm activity typically ramping up through September. It’s also the right time to prepare your home before severe weather strikes. Strong winds, heavy rain, fallen leaves, and early cold snaps can all increase the risk of property damage if seasonal maintenance is overlooked. Storm Readiness Checklist

Clean Gutters and Downspouts
