Kelly Schavone Named Union Mutual Marketing Representative to Replace Retiring Representative Jeff McLaughlin

 

MONTPELIER – Union Mutual has named Kelly Schavone to be its Vermont Marketing Representative. Schavone replaces retiring Senior Marketing Representative Jeff McLaughlin, who has been with the Company for 28 years.  “We are excited to have someone with Kelly’s experience and expertise join our Marketing Team,” said AVP of Marketing Alexis Burrall, “we also thank and acknowledge Jeff McLaughlin upon the conclusion of his remarkable career and dedication to our Company.”

 

Jeff McLaughlin began his career at the Company in the role of Claims Adjuster and has served as the Company’s Marketing Representative and Senior Marketing Representative for the State of Vermont, as well as areas of New York and Massachusetts in recent years. McLaughlin will retire as of July 1, 2024.

 

Kelly Schavone brings more than 17 years of industry experience to her new role.  Most recently, she held the position of Territory Commercial Lines Underwriter at the Company and served previously as a Commercial Account Manager for a large Vermont insurance agency.  “Kelly’s extensive background in the industry, pulling from both the agency and Company perspective, will be a great asset in her new role,” said Lisa Keysar, President & CEO of Union Mutual. “She is well-positioned to continue to build and strengthen our relationships with our agency partners throughout Vermont and Western Massachusetts.”
