Union Mutual’s Anna Grearson Named 2023 Rising Star by Vermont Business Magazine

MONTPELIER – Union Mutual is pleased to announce the Company’s Branding & Communications Coordinator, Anna Grearson, was recently recognized by Vermont Business Magazine as a “Rising Star” in recognition of her contributions to the community and the Vermont economy as an outstanding young leader.

 

The Rising Star program recognizes 40 individuals under the age of 40 from the State of Vermont. The individuals are chosen by a panel of judges for their commitment to business growth, professional excellence and involvement in their communities.

 

“Anna has shown tremendous commitment to community service, professional development and talent in leading Union Mutual’s branding and communications efforts,” Union Mutual President & CEO Lisa Keysar said of Grearson. “Anna actively seeks opportunities to promote the Union Mutual brand and has been instrumental in contributing to the Company’s community engagement and corporate social responsibility programs.” 

 

Grearson joined the Company in 2014 and has served as Executive & Communications Coordinator and Branding & Communications Specialist.  Grearson is currently enrolled in the Company’s “Employee Development Program,” an immersive 2-year training program during which the employee spends time working in each department of the Company.   In her role as Branding & Communications Specialist, she leads the Company’s advertising and social media strategy, highlighting the Company’s strategic goals of insurance education, corporate social responsibility and loss prevention.  Anna is involved in a variety of community organizations including serving as Vice Chair for the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness & Sports, Education & Events Committee for the Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility and as a Board member for Central VT Memorial Civic Center.
