Union Mutual Raises Over $147,000 for the Kelly Brush Foundation
MONTPELIER, VT – Union Mutual announced it has raised over $147,000 in support of the Kelly Brush Foundation. The achievement was part of the Company’s participation in the 20th Annual Kelly Brush Ride, held in Middlebury, Vermont on September 6th, 2025.
Union Mutual employees, their families, friends, and agency partners joined hundreds of riders for the event, with all funds raised directly through charitable donations made in support of the Team Union Mutual riders.

The Kelly Brush Foundation and annual rides raise funds to empower people with spinal cord injuries to lead active lives.

The Kelly Brush Foundation (KBF) is a dynamic and growing Burlington, Vermont-based non-profit whose mission is to inspire and empower people with spinal cord injuries to lead active and engaged lives. The Kelly Brush Foundation was founded in 2006 by Kelly Brush and her family after she sustained a spinal cord injury while racing in an NCAA alpine ski race. To date, the Kelly Brush Foundation has awarded more than 2,000 adaptive equipment grants to people in 50 states, while also hosting adaptive sports camps and introducing tens of thousands to adaptive recreation through a comprehensive digital education platform. The KBF also works closely with the alpine ski racing community to transform safety at events through course improvement grants and advocacy.
